Somalia : HabarGidir Vows a Robust Action against “Wolves in Government Clothing”
Habargidir.info – Representatives of Habar Gidir held a meeting in SYL Hotel on Wednesday to discuss for the recent government actions of singling out a tribe for collective punishment.
The atrocities being committed against the Habar Gidir have received a share coverage after President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud and his clansmen targeted officials and journalists from the powerful Somali clan of Habargidir.
The Somali Federal Government stage-managed a false accusations against journalists , Security and Police officers for merely being Habar Gidir.
MPs, Politicians, and decision-makers from Habar Gidir stood up to defend themselves from what they called, “Wolves in Government Clothing”.
Several Somali Parliaments including Abdi Samad M. Mohamoud, Ugas Dagey,Abtidon, Jimale Irfid told the ministers if the government do not stop its power abuse, the response from Habar Gidir will revolt against the government.
Finally, Habar Gidir representatives called on not to be used the government institutions a means to punish any Somali rival clan. The representative vowed a robust action against the the president and his appointed clansmen if they continue to harass Habar Gidir.
